About our service

The Fair Claims Co ABN 33 534 281 633 ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian document preparation service that helps consumers understand their options when an insurance claim has been denied. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

What you agree to

By using The Fair Claims Co, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We are a document preparation service, not a law firm, and do not provide legal advice
  • Assessments and documents are generated using AI and should be reviewed before use
  • We do not guarantee any particular outcome for your insurance dispute
  • You are responsible for any correspondence you send to your insurer based on our documents
  • You should consider seeking independent legal advice for complex matters

Pricing and refunds

  • The initial case assessment is free
  • The options report costs $99
  • The dispute letter package costs $199 and includes the options report
  • Paid services are non-refundable once the deliverable has been generated
  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST

AI-generated content

Our assessments and documents are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude). While we design our prompts carefully and review output quality, AI can make errors. You should read every document before sending it to your insurer and satisfy yourself that the content is accurate for your situation.

Your documents

Documents you upload remain yours. We use them solely to generate your assessment and deliverables. We do not share your documents with any third party except as required to process them (via Anthropic's API, which does not retain or train on the data). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising from the use of our service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific deliverable in question. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of AI-generated documents, including any outcome of a dispute with your insurer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
